"I participated in the Disney International College Program (Orlando) in the summer of 2007. Before the pogram I was a student going into the 2nd year of University studying a BSc in Sports Studies. I discovered the program whilst on holiday at Walt Disney World, I was visiting Epcot when I noticed a cast member's badge with 'Caerphilly' on there, when talking to the cast member, she told me to visit Yummy Jobs. It was challenging to get accepted on the programme, as there were a few intervews to go through, however it was all worth it! The process was quick and before I knew it I was jetted off for the journey of a lifetime! Whilst on the programme I actually enjoyed working (believe it or not) my job role was amazing fun! I also made so many friends from every continent and had the chance to spend my days off at Disney World for FREE!! I learnt many things, the main one was being away from home, and getting used to the culture of the USA. I gained confidence and self-belief from working abroad. I am now finishing university and hoping to become a PE teacher, the programme has helped to me to focus on what I want to achieve, and made me believe that I am capable of achieving my dream."
