FOOD AND BEVERAGE AND ROOMS DIVISION TRAINING PROGRAMS
This unique and exciting program allows students and professionals the opportunity to train with the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center; the largest, non-gaming hotel in the United States! During this hospitality placement, you will rotate around the resort's dining operation, allowing you to maximize your exposure to daily hotel operations. A Marriott-owned and operated hotel, this program will provide you with a great opportunity to kick-start your hotel career with a global brand!

On this program, we are hiring candidates to take part in a hospitality program which encompasses rotations in both Rooms Division or Food and Beverage.
On a Rooms Division program you would follow a training program in some of the following rotations;

Hotel Concierge

Guest Services
On a Food and Beverage program, you may follow some of the following rotations;

Seater/greeter/hostess

Server

Events
The pay rate for this program is $17 USD per hour and you will be scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Participants will be provided with a range of learning opportunities throughout the year, gaining exposure to a range of front-desk and concierge operations. Guest check-in and room assignments, operating a telephone switchboard system, running and checking daily reports, processing all guest requests and concerns, and providing excellent guest service at all times will become part of the everyday responsibilities in this role. Most importantly, you will learn how to complete these to the high standards that you would expect from a leading Marriott resort, gaining a skill set that will compliment your professional career and enhance your future career prospects.

Featuring 2,888 stylish guestrooms, 700,000 modern square feet in meeting space, and over 9 acres of gardens and waterways underneath signature glass atriums. The resort features multiple restaurants and shopping opportunities for guests right under their roof.
Guests can relax and unwidn in the on-site Relâche Spa & Salon, or gather for an outing at Gaylord Springs Golf Links. Opryland's indoor and outdoor pools and 9 acres of lush, indoor gardens and cascading waterfalls will impress all visitors.

Gaylord Opryland is home to SoundWaves - a 4 acre, 3-level luxury indoor/outdoor waterpark with dedicated recreation areas for adults, young children, and families! During this program, you will also get to experience Gaylord Opryland's famous "A Country Christmas" - a festive celebration throughout the Holiday season which features an ice kingdom, exclusive theatre and dinner shows, ice-skating, snow tubing, and over 3 million Christmas lights!
In the local area, guests can also explore popular nearby attractions including the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the General Jackson Showboat.
Whilst taking part in this program the participant will be responsible for sourcing their own housing, we can provide resources or where to look.
You will be able to stay at the hotel for two weeks, with a special rate of $60.00 USD per night ($30.00 USD if there's 2 people in the room), after arrival to ensure that you have time to find suitable accommodation.
INTERVIEW PROCESS

Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.

If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with the Gaylord Opryland HR Team via video call.
