At the north end of Napa Valley, you’ll find California’s premier historic resort and spa. Indian Springs Calistoga’s palm tree-lined drive unfolds into 17 stunning acres of rolling hills and ponds, lush olive trees and fragrant gardens, bursting with lavender and roses. Blessed with rare, sustainable natural resources, including mineral water from four thermal geysers and special mud made from pure volcanic ash, guests have long recognized the restorative powers of our abundant land.
From mud baths to mineral pools, allow the past to inspire the present and enjoy the same spa traditions and resort amenities of more than a century ago. The core experience at Indian Springs Calistoga has changed very little over the years, and that’s no coincidence.
What You’ll Do on the Program
This immersive hospitality internship places you in the heart of resort operations. You’ll rotate through key Rooms Division roles, learning the art of luxury guest service from a team that blends tradition with modern excellence.

Beyond your day-to-day training, this program also gives you the chance to soak in Californian culture, from Napa Valley vineyards to small-town charm. Your off-hours? Expect wine tastings, road trips, and local festivals.
Historic Wellness Meets Modern Comfort
For over a century, Indian Springs has been a sanctuary of healing and hospitality. Located on 17 sun-soaked acres in Calistoga, the resort is known for its signature mineral pool, natural mud baths, and spa traditions that have stood the test of time.
Guest accommodations span everything from restored Mission Revival cottages to modern bungalows. Each one offers a blend of California-cool design, private outdoor space, and spa-like amenities — perfect for travelers seeking peace and rejuvenation.
Participants will live in shared, fully furnished housing provided by Indian Springs. You’ll be paired with other program participants, creating a social and supportive living environment.
