Set in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live, learn, and train at one of the most iconic resorts in the Southeast.
Owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and operated by Caesars Entertainment, this luxurious 21-story property is more than just a hotel and casino — it’s a full-scale hospitality experience featuring 1,100+ rooms, world-class dining, a sprawling convention center, and award-winning guest service.
As part of this 12-month J‑1 internship, you’ll train in one of three core hospitality disciplines:
- Food & Beverage – From fine dining to room service, develop your guest service skills across a variety of upscale outlets.
- Rooms Division – Gain experience at the front desk, concierge, and guest services.
- Culinary Arts – Rotate through high-volume kitchens, banquet operations, and pastry production under award-winning chefs.

Participants on this program will be required to obtain a J-1 Intern or Trainee visa through Yummy Jobs and will be able to train for a period of time as outlined by Harrah’s Cherokee. Upon completion of the program, participants will have up to 30 days to travel within the United States. Participants must then return to their home country upon completion of the program

This is a reduced fee opportunity for selected applicants training at one of North Carolina’s top hospitality destinations. The program fee for non-sponsored participants is $4,000.
