What You’ll Do on the Program
This isn’t just restaurant work — it’s your front-row seat to five-star hospitality. At Amangiri, you can choose between two standout tracks: Food & Beverage or Culinary Arts.
Food & Beverage Track
You’ll rotate through key roles in Amangiri’s Food & Beverage team — mastering the art of luxury service in one of the world’s most exclusive resorts. Think:
-
Seater/Greeter – the first face guests see, setting the tone with warmth and professionalism
-
Server – delivering seamless service with style, precision, and personality
You’ll build confidence, polish your communication skills, and learn how to run a dining experience that’s unforgettable from start to finish.
Culinary Arts Track
If your passion lives in the kitchen, the Culinary Arts track puts you side-by-side with the chefs at Amangiri’s open-plan kitchen. You’ll be part of a team that presents sustainable, seasonal menus inspired by the culinary heritage of the Navajo Nation and the American Southwest — all crafted using local ingredients and global influences.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
- Preparing dishes for resort guests and non-residents alike
- Working with a wood-fired oven and modern plating techniques
- Contributing to experiences like the signature “Spirit of the Journey” four-course tasting menu — a tribute to the region’s five Indigenous tribes
Whether you’re front-of-house or behind the pass, this program offers rare insight into what it takes to deliver refined, thoughtful hospitality in a breathtaking setting.
Pay rates range from $7.50 USD + tips to $13.50 USD per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week.
