Whether you’re greeting guests at the front desk or serving crafted dishes in a stylish dining space, this J-1 internship offers hands-on experience, Marriott-standard training, and the chance to grow professionally in a diverse, dynamic environment.

As part of the program, you’ll join an experienced, welcoming team and rotate through key areas in either the Rooms Division or Food & Beverage departments. You’ll be supported every step of the way, gaining industry insight, building your confidence, and learning how to deliver thoughtful service with flair.

Program Highlights

What You’ll Do on the Program

This 12-month program offers structured rotations in your chosen track, combining technical skill-building with on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to Marriott’s service standards. You’ll learn directly from industry experts while playing a key role in delivering world-class guest experiences.


Rooms Division Track

Become the face of the hotel as you rotate through guest service operations.

Rotations include:

  • Front Desk

  • Bell Services

  • Concierge

Pay Rate: $17.00 USD/hour
Hours: Minimum 32 per week


Food & Beverage Track

Train across service styles and dining concepts — from casual to refined.

Rotations include:

  • Host

  • Serving Assistant

  • Server (no tips)

Pay Rate: $22.00 USD/hour
Hours: Minimum 32 per week

Housing

Housing is self-sourced by the participant. You’ll have the option to stay on-site at the hotel for your first two weeks to help ease your transition into city life and secure long-term accommodation.
