INTERN WITH MOHONK IN AN EXCITING NEW 12-MONTH HOSPITALITY PROGRAM OPEN FOR 2024!
This exciting new internship/training program offers students the opportunity to train at Mohonk Mountain House, steeped in history and 90 miles north of New York City in the beautiful town of New Paltz. In this program, we are hiring for team members in F&B and also Rooms Division. We are also hiring for Pastry and Culinary Arts for this program here.

Food and Beverage
The Food and Beverage program with Mohonk allows the candidate to participate in a 12-month culinary arts program on property with Mohonk Mountain House Retreat. Candidates will rotate around a structured training plan spending a few months in each discipline during their paid placement.

In this program, successful candidates will rotate positions on a paid training program around different Rooms Division operations on the property and learn from the best!

Pay rates
F&B - $18 - $27/ hour ($18 as server assistant, $20 as a food runner, $27 as a server- approx 10 months or program)
Rooms Division - $19.75/hour
Program Offer Specifics: Mohonk offers Payroll Deduction ($1,000 fee upfront by student; $3,000 paid by Mohonk upfront; Student reimburses $2,500)

Participants in this program will be required to obtain a J-1 Intern or Trainee visa through Yummy Jobs and will be able to train for a period of time as outlined by Mohonk. Upon completion of the program, participants will have up to 30 days to travel within the United States. Participants must then return to their home country upon completion of the program.

Furnished Dorm-style housing; limited single units are available as part of this program. Program participants will also receive three meals per day included in this rent price. This is charged at the below rates.
- $112.70/week for Rooms is $119.50/week (half for shared rooms)
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.
- If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with the Mohonk HR Team via video call.
