Amangiri is a breath-taking 600-acre sanctuary of wilderness and isolation in Canyon Point, Southern Utah which offers guests ultimate personalisation of bespoke adventures and cultural activities. 
 
Sustainable, seasonal menus inspired by the culinary heritage of the Navajo and the American Southwest are served indoors and alfresco within the 4 onsite restaurants, as well as the unique iconic Dining Experiences; the Sunset Trail and Dinner on the Rocks.

If your career goal is success in the world of Culinary Arts, you could not beat 12 months training alongside the Chefs at Amangiri Resort Canyon Point.
 
Presenting sustainable seasonal menus inpired by the culinary heritage fo the Navajo and the American Southwest, Amangiri's main restaurant and dining venues are open to resort guests and non-residents. 
 
Looking out across the plains through floor to ceiling windows, Amangiri’s main restaurant centres on an open plan kitchen and wood fired oven. The menus showcase local ingredients, taking inspiration from Native American cuisine, tempered with global influences. A four course ‘Spirit of the Journey’ tasting menu with matched wines pays gastronimic institute to five tribes of the region.

 

CHEF ANTHONY R MAZARITA 

Growing up in Northern Nevada Chef Anthony Marazita got his start working in his family’s coffee shops from a very young age into his teens. As a teenager he spent his time staging in many high profile restaurants throughout the Napa Valley and San Francisco in addition to being the Sous Chef at the only 5 Star 5 Diamond Restaurant in Northern Nevada. At the age of 24 he got his first Executive Chef role in a private country club where he catered to Nevada’s elite and served 3 past US. Presidents in his five years there, after that experience Chef Anthony joined Starwood Hotels spending his time in luxury properties in Scottsdale, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Kauai under the brands St. Regis, Sheraton Grand and Luxury Collection where he spent 7 years holding various Chef positions and task forced around the country.  Chef Anthony went to the University of Nevada where he studied Communications. Anthony brings a unique style to the table that is extremely well-rounded in all types of cuisine however his main focus is Southwestern Native American with global accents which is a style of celebrating Indigenous Native ingredients & Recipes while putting a Luxury twist on them.
 

Housing for this program is provided by Amangiri, you will be housed as well as sharing a room with fellow program participants in a fully furnished house or apartment complex.

 

Housing is payroll deducted at a rate of $500.00 USD per month inclusive of all utilities*.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.​
  • If successful, candidates will then be invited to a final interview with a member of the Amangiri team via video call.
