Located in Thompsonville, Michigan Crystal Mountain is recognised as one of North America's premier family destinations and applauded by Conde Nast Traveller and Fodor's Travel. On a rise about Betsie Valley, Michigan and a short trip away from Lake Michigan. Crystal Mountain has been a favourite amongst midwest skiers and riders since its opening in 1960.

The Scottish-themed Kinlochen Lodge looms over the ski runs and the golf course welcoming golfers, skiers and snowboarders back year after year.

For this program, we are recruiting for both Food and Beverage and Rooms Division programs.

Food and Beverage Program

On a food and beverage program, you will follow various rotations working through all restaurants and banqueting events.

Rooms Division Program

On a Rooms Division program, your rotations will be governed by the seasons.

Spring/Summer

Beach/Pool Services & Operations

Autumn/Winter

Tickets/Rental Operations
Snow Sports Operations/Lift Operations
Front Office/Front Desk
Supervisory skills training

Participants on this program will enjoy employee perks like usage of guest facilities and employee discounts throughout the resort. Exclusive discounts include food and beverage outlets right through to discounted winter sports training.

The pay rate for this program is $15 USD per hour and you will be scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Participants on this program will be required to obtain a J-1 Intern or Trainee visa through Yummy Jobs and will be able to train for a period of time as outlined by the Crystal Mouintain Hotel Upon completion of the program, participants will have up to 30 days to travel within the United States. Participants must then return to their home country upon completion of the program.

PROPERTY STORY

Crystal Mountains story is a good one, the resort began with a dedicated group of neighbours who were looking for a good place to ski! 60 years later, it is not recognised as one of North America's premier family destinations.

Crystal Mountain is many things to many people. It is 58 downhill trails and 36 championship holes of golf. A place where some exchange wedding vows and others share innovative ideas. It is a place where people connect with others and also disconnect for some much-needed solitude.

The resort houses 260+ lodging units, fine dining, a pizza and sub shop, 25 kilometers of cross-country skiing, two championship golf courses, the award-winning Crystal Spa among other wonderful amenities.

The property has received many awards and accolades from being included on the Best US Golf and Ski Resorts list by NBC Sports, right through to environmental awards for their efforts for cleaner air.

HOUSING

Housing for this program is provided by the Omni Grove, you will be housed as well as sharing a room with fellow program participants in a fully furnished house or apartment complex.

Housing is payroll deducted at a rate of $70.00 per week inclusive of all utilities*.

Applicants will be required to attend a pre-screen interview via video call with a member of the Yummy Jobs Team in order to be considered.
If successful, applicants will be required to attend a final interview with Crystal Mountain HR Team via video call.
